This looks good. I am particularly interested in #4. It is important that the negotiating team gets a very strong message about the need to bargain in good faith BEFORE a strike vote. If they try the same old tactics I will boycott any strike vote prior to a reasonable time for negotiations and encourage others to do the same. Time for some real change in the negotiating process. Not to say that management is “lily white” …by no means. Pressure from the membership on both parties should be exerted this round and we should demand real results.
Robin, don’t ever boycott a vote. Protest other ways, speak your mind, but never, never, let them have a free reign by not voting.
Otherwise, agree 100%.
